Tapas competition

You and your team get a chance to make a variety of tapas using your vision, creativity, and of course plenty of teamwork. Each team will compete to create the best tapas in the competition. Each group is responsible to create a few shared tapas using a variety of ingredients provided for you. Your challenge is to turn those ingredients into a real masterpiece with the help of a professional chef.

Which team will be the champion of the 2025 Top Chef Tapas Competition?

There are many ways to make these Spanish delicacies and this is your chance to experiment with the creation of a true culinary masterpiece. Participants will have the assistance of a chef to answer any questions about how to make their dishes turn out perfectly. The chefs are not there to tell you how to do everything though, they are here to help channel your creative vision into a winning recipe!

The Tapas Menu

We choose the menu for our tapas activities based on seasonal ingredients and we vary the tapas prepared based on group size as well. We can always arrange a vegetarian and gluten free option if needed to cater to any dietary requirements. The Tapas listed below are examples of tapas that we may be prepare.

    Fresh pork sausage with mushroom, onion, raisins and pine nuts

  • Spanish Tortilla

    The classic egg and potato omelette

  • Rollito de Cabrales

    Cured beef with blue cheese and walnuts with a sherry reduction

  • Mussels in Vinaigrette

    Cold vinaigrette dressing

  • Mussels a la marinera

    Hot tomato sauce

  • Pincho de Chistorra con Padron

    Chorizo sausage with small green peppers on bread

  • Sobrassada con Miel

    Mallorcan sausage singed with a torch and topped with honey

  • Gambas al Ajillo

    Spanish style garlic fried prawns

  • Pincho Vasco

    A slice of bread covered with a mix of Krab, vegetables and mayonnaise

  • Gazpacho

    The classic cold tomato and mixed vegetable soup

  • Pamtomaquet

    Catalan style bread with tomato Garbanzos a la andaluza- Chickpeas with spinach, garlic, fried bread and cumin
