Give students a hands-on introduction to Spanish food and culture. Our cooking sessions combine teamwork, shared responsibility and a meal at the table, with formats designed for school trips, universities and study-abroad programmes.
All classes are led by professional chefs and run for roughly one to two hours, so it fits easily into a school or programme schedule. Prices are per person and exclude 21% VAT.
Students cook a selection of paellas with our chefs, along with a Spanish tortilla, Catalan pa amb tomaquet and crema catalana. About 1 hour 45 minutes, for groups of 18 to 130.

Students prepare fideua, ensaladilla rusa, Spanish tortilla, pa amb tomaquet, a cured cheese and quince (membrillo) tapa and crema catalana. About 2 hours, for groups of 18 to 130.

A shorter, lower-cost menu of gazpacho, Basque pinchos, patatas bravas and pa amb tomaquet with cured cheese and sausage. About 1.5 hours, for groups of 18 to 35. Larger groups can be split into sessions.

A 45-minute visit to a local market before or after the cooking, with a tasting of cured ham and olives. For groups of up to 10 people, and also available on its own.

Students do much more than watch a demonstration. They share out the tasks, prepare the ingredients and see how everyone’s work comes together in a single dish. Our chefs explain the food in clear, easy language and adjust to the age and aims of the group.

The budget tapas activity takes about 1.5 hours, the paella activity about 1 hour 45 minutes and the tapas activity about 2 hours. A market visit adds 45 minutes.
Yes. We offer student formats with different menus and lengths, including a shorter budget tapas option. Student activities start at €35 + 21% VAT per person, depending on the format you choose, and we confirm everything in your proposal.
We can plan vegetarian and other adaptations when the organiser gives us complete information in advance.
Many student activities take place at Poble Espanyol. We confirm the venue after reviewing your date and group size.
The full amount is due 14 days before the activity, by bank transfer (our preferred option) or credit card (a 3% fee is added to the invoice total). You can cancel up to two weeks before the activity for a full refund. Each activity page has the full policy.
